# Stride — Run & Own Your City

> Stride is a competitive territory-running game for iOS. You run a loop outdoors; the real-world area your route encloses becomes your territory on a shared, live 3D map. ## What Stride is
- A running app **and** a real-time strategy game in one. Think "running app meets territory control / turf war."
- Territory is the **actual area you enclose with a closed running route**, measured in square metres (m²) with PostGIS precision — not a hexagon grid.
- Every run changes a **shared map of your city**: territories are painted in each owner's colour and visible to everyone.

## How it works
1. Run any route that closes into a loop.
2. The enclosed area becomes your territory on the live map.
3. Run over a rival's turf to steal it; if you're robbed, run it back for a revenge bonus.
